Had an amazing time with friends! We explored the stunning Linhope Spout waterfall and the coastal path along the beach. The staff was friendly and the decor was charming. A highlight was definitely the delicious dinner we had. Just a heads up, the rooms are comfortable but may lack modern conveniences like air conditioning.

Staying here was fantastic, especially the serene surroundings and that delightful evening meal! We loved visiting the nearby beautiful waterfalls and exploring Alnwick Castle with our teens, which made our time special and memorable. The room was spacious and comfortable too.

My kids wished there were more family-friendly activities available.

Such a nice spot! We had a lovely room with a comfy bed and the vegan brekkie was fab. The grounds are beautiful – perfect for a stroll or picnic. Service was hit and miss, though, especially waiting ages for a spoon during dinner. a great stay but service could use some polish.

I had a lovely stay in a Deluxe Double Room, where the ambiance was just fantastic and the gardens were a true highlight. The dining experience was remarkable, especially the exquisite presentation of the meals, which really exceeded my expectations. the room could have benefited from some additional warmth, as it felt a bit chilly upon arrival.

We had an amazing 2-night stay! The room was super spacious and the bed was so comfy. Breakfast was delish, really good choices. We loved dinner too, best meals we’ve had in ages! Just a heads up, some areas felt a bit dated. a great vibe for a chill trip.

I enjoyed exploring the stunning grounds, which were beautifully maintained, and appreciated the convenience of being close to both Acklington Park and the Northumberland Country Zoo during my stay.

The lodge I stayed in was quite dated, with a small TV resembling more of a computer screen. It was a bit inconvenient having to walk in the dark to the main hall for the bar, but I did appreciate the beautiful surroundings of the property. I particularly enjoyed the lovely poached eggs at breakfast, even if the service could be improved as I felt somewhat ignored during my stay.

The hotel is a lovely Georgian house with beautiful grounds, perfect for a relaxing walk. The evening meals were superb!
